I can\u2019t believe we\u2019ve already co-hosted and curated 5 amazing Sofar Sounds event in New York! I truly love they guys and everything they do!<\/p>\n

This one was at a super cool spot in Bushwick, a neighborhood in Brooklyn that I adore exploring!<\/p>\n

Wait! You\u2019ve never heard of Sofar Sounds?<\/p>\n

Well, they are \u201cbringing the magic back to live music. Amazing artists in intimate spaces, performing stripped-back sets to carefully curated audiences. Please, arrive on time, stay to the end. Sit down, settle in and just listen. You\u2019re gonna love it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

In New York City alone, they host over 100 events per month and they are present in over 300 cities worldwide!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) type of event, so you can bring your own Booze! So feel free to bring Wine, Beer, or whatever makes you happy!<\/p>\n

Z\u00e9 Luis Oliveira<\/h3>\n

\"Our<\/p>\n

Z\u00e9 Luis Oliveira is a renowned Brazilian composer, saxophonist, flutist, producer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist. His career is fantastic for he\u2019s performed and recorded with some of the biggest names in the Brazilian music scene known worldwide like Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Gal Costa, Cazuza, Bebel Gilberto and Tania Maria.<\/p>\n

He moved to NYC in 1990 and never moved back to Rio de Janeiro, his hometown. Furthermore, Z\u00e9 received his Masters in Composition and Arranging from the super famous Juilliard School, in NYC.<\/p>\n

In 2015, he launched The Atelier Music Studio, in Long Island City, a highly effective multipurpose workspace.<\/p>\n

And still, he holds 4 Grammy nominations: 3 for Best Contemporary World Music Album and 1 for Best Latin Pop Album.<\/p>\n

Natalie Hart<\/h3>\n

\"Our<\/p>\n

Natalie Hart\u00a0is another friend of mine \u2013 yes, I have awesome friends, lol \u2013 that I\u2019ve had the honor to have perform at a Sofar Sounds curated by us! Her energy and her style, just drove the crowd wide and crazy in love with her!<\/p>\n

Natalie was born in Dallas Texas and her contact with music started even before being born.<\/p>\n

She told us that: \u201cMy musical influences stem back to my love for the dramatique and the singular, unmistakable voices of the classic female vocalists of the 1940s.\u201d<\/p>\n

And still, that her inspirations come from big names\u00a0like Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone and Sarah Vaughan.<\/p>\n

She is days from debuting an album called \u201cCurtains\u201d, that was literally 5-yeas in the making, we\u2019re pretty excited for that!<\/p>\n

Frank Bell<\/h3>\n

\"Our<\/p>\n

Last, but certainly not least, Frank Bell\u00a0really got the crowd going with his folky, neo-soul acoustic rock!<\/p>\n

He\u2019s a Sofar Sounds veteran, a singer, a songwriter and, according to him, a foodie and a picture taker!<\/p>\n

Originally a classically-trained cellist, Frank later expanded his instrumental arsenal as a way to further express himself as an artist.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s been featured everywhere from MTV and the Sundance Film Festival, to Times Square NYE Concert. In addition, he\u2019s an official Music Brand Ambassador for Skype which since has led to his participation on a panel at TED 2014!<\/p>\n

Venue:\u00a0Moto Spirits Distillery<\/h3>\n

Moto Spirits Distillery\u00a0not only was an amazing place to host our Sofar Sounds curated night, but they really engaged with the guests!<\/p>\n

They briefly talked about their whiskey and actually gave a small sample for everyone that night, with a great group toast!<\/p>\n

\u201cSmall batch, rice-based whiskeys and specialty spirits discovered during motorcycle trips around the world. Handcrafted in America\u2019s first rice whiskey distillery, adventurous spirits inspired by travel and made in Brooklyn, New York.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
